璧山是重庆西部的一座美丽小城，这里有巴渝地区保存很完好的孔庙，孔子“不学礼，无以立”的教诲浸润着这座小城。
璧山区秉持“绿色教育，儒雅璧山”办学理念，以立德树人为导向，以社会主义核心价值观为主干，以礼仪课程为基础，以实际问题为起点，在农村中小学开展礼仪教育的实践探索，形成了德育新常态。
一是课程内容本土化。课程科学规划教育内容，贴近学生生活实际，构建了区域“共性礼仪课程”和学校“特需礼仪课程”。二是实施策略一体化。根据学生年龄特点开展项目实践，在“小学、初中、高中”不同学段系统推进实施。三是运行模式常态化。关注学生成长变化，加强督导评价，学校、家庭、社会多方协同，形成合力。有效提升了学生综合素质，促进了教师专业发展和学校管理变革，实现了三大转变:满意度从“常投诉”到“零投诉”的转变，关注度从“礼仪领头雁”到“教育先锋队”的转变，参与度从“被动旁观”到“主动深耕”的转变。获评国家教育主管部门“中小学德育工作优秀案例”、“《中小学德育工作指南》典型经验”、“首批‘一校一案’落实《中小学德育工作指南》典型案例”，重庆市首批2个“德育品牌”以及重庆市2个“德育特色基地”等多项荣誉。
